Rose Constance (Navarro) Kurasinski, 94, of New Britain, CT passed away peacefully at home Monday, December 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Bruno) Navarro. She was a life-time resident of New Britain. Early in her career she was employed by Fafnir Bearing. Over the last forty years Rose was employed by the Hospital of Central Ct @ New Britain in the emergency and admitting departments, retiring in 2013.
Rose leaves behind four children – John Navarro and his wife Linda of Bristol, CT, Nancy McCrann and her husband Robert of Berlin, CT, Linda Sierakowski and her husband Raymond of Berlin, CT and Jonelle Kurasinski and her fiancé Orlando Sanchez of Manchester, CT, several grandchildren, Rob McCrann, Jennifer Navarro, Jason Navarro, Melissa Bernier and Sarah Navarro; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special nephew Louis Rascoe and his wife Lynn. The family would like to thank Anurag Sharma, MD and NAC Mohanraj, MD for their loving care.
Funeral rites for Rose will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 655 East St., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
