Condolence: I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one Beverly. Even though I didn’t know her well personally, I do remember the Davis family and I'm sure she'll be missed by her family and friends.
Sometimes it is difficult to get comfort during this time but perhaps you can feel better. What helped me is my faith in God’s word, the Bible.
One Scripture in particular is in the last book of the Bible, Revelations, chapter 21, verse 4. It says in part “He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more…the former things have passed away.” This is only one of many future promises in the Bible, and not only will death, pain and sorrow will be gone forever, but there will be an earthly resurrection of “both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15)
Thank you for allowing me to share a comforting thought with you today. May you, family and friends of Beverly have undeserved kindness and peace from God our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ during this time of loss.
