My mother is my hero. She would get me and my sister off to school in the morning and then go to work all day long. She had the tedious job of soldering fishing rod eyes and costume jewelry. After work she would clean, cook and do laundry. Never complaining. She would make our Halloween costumes and we would always take home the prize for the best costume. One year I insisted that I buy my costume and you guess it no prize for me that year. Mom was a wonderful cook. I have way too many favorites to list but I do need to say that she made the best prizzelle cookies in the world. She had a great knack of knowing what was the perfect Christmas and Birthday gift. She was always supportive of everything my sister and I did. She was always there for the many times I injured myself and needed stitches. She was a great mother. Mom I love you and will miss you tremendously.
